Jean Hackstock is a proud graduate of Leadership Macomb Class XIII. Jean is a Partner at the Maomb County office of Plante Moran. She helps real estate and construction companies reduce their tax burden and stay on top of industry regulations, trends, and financial best practices. She is the regional real estate and construction leader for Southeast Michigan and sits on the leadership team for the industry group. In her role, she develops her team in Michigan and supports clients across the industry. Many of her clients are general contractors or involved with heavy/highway, specialty trade, and multi-entity commercial real estate.

With nearly 15 years at the firm, Jean’s greatest accomplishment has been mentoring amazing individuals. Seeing others grow and advance in their careers is something she is proud to be a part of. She is humbled by those she has learned from and honored to pass on the knowledge.

Jean belongs to the AICPA, inForum, the Michigan Association of CPAs, the Association of General Contractors (AGC), the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Construction Association of Michigan, and the MITA. She received her B.S. and M.S. in accountancy from Walsh College.



Outside of work, Jean loves spending time with her family (especially her husband, Jason), reading and, occasionally, pretending to golf! We are proud to have Jean as the Treasurer of our Leadership Macomb Board of Directors.
