Community Assets, Issues - September 15, 2010

Provides an overview of Macomb County and exposes participants to the top issues
facing the county and the initiatives aimed at improving those issues.

Government - September 16, 2010

Offers valuable information about the jurisdictional division between county government, local
municipalities and county agencies.

Arts and Culture - October 20, 2010

Explores the importance of arts and culture in our community.

Health and Human Services - November 17, 2010
Demonstrates the challenges of providing health and human services to all sectors of the community.

Education and Workforce Development - December 15, 2010

Examines the issues regarding education and workforce development and the community's role in these processes.

Our Neighbors - January 19, 2011

Provides participants the opportunity to explore the value of our cultural differences and
how they affect our community.

Leadership - February 16, 2011

Offers Participants an opportunity to interact with Macomb County leaders and gain insight into their own leadership style.

Business, Manufacturing and Technology - March 16, 2011

Explores national and regional trends in business, manufacturing and technology and
presents how those trends impact our workforce.

Justice System - April 20, 2011

Presents an oerview of the criminal justice system, and court-connected programs and services.

Environment - May 18, 2011

Focuses on some of the many encironmental issues facing the region.

Community Service Day - May 19, 2011

Offers participants an opportunity to make an impact on the community in which they live
and work by taking part in a community service project.

Commencement - June 1, 2010
