Education & Workforce Development Day took place on December 15, 2010 at the Macomb Intermediate School District, MISD
The objectives for the day were:

1. To focus on the Evolution of Education and the Region, "Where, We Were, Where We Are and Where We Are Going;
2. To Understand the continuum of education from K-12 to Workforce Development, what challenges have been overcome in the evolution of county/region adn understand the current state of education;
3. To provide LM class an opportunity to project into the future of education in Macomb County (and) region to identify challenges and possible solutions.
