Community Assets, Issues and Leaders Day took place on September 15, 2010 at Macomb Community College University Center.
The objectives for the day were 1) to recognize and understand individual leadership styles 2) to gain a realization and understanding of the assets and issues of the County and Region; 3) to understand the importance of how and where to lead.

The day began with Angie Sokol, Ph.D. from Sokol Professional Coaching and Training, LLC with a presentation and group participation on “Discovering Individual Styles in Communication”.

The afternoon session brought Kurt Metzer, Director of Data Driven Detroit with an informative talk on “Demographic and Economic Overview” of Southeast Michigan.
